KVK scientists have suggested him to co- ordinate all his components like farming, horticulture, agro forestry, live stock etc. in proper way. He increased his cropping intensity by intercropping, mix cropping and relay cropping. He used zero tillage for timely sowing of wheat and DSR (Paddy) with low cost of cultivation. He enriched soil fertility with soil amendment and green manuring. He planted one acre Allahabad Safeda, guava under High Density Planting. He has grown cowpea variety Kashi Kanchan in 1 acre. As a consolidated result now he earns, Rs. 922000.00 He is often called by higher authority for participating in Research council meeting, Extension council meeting. Name and Description of the Farm / Enterprise Sri Suresh Prasad came to KVK for technological guidance from KVK scientists. He participated in different types of training related to vegetable cultivation, papaya cultivation, vermi compost preparation, mushroom cultivation and banana cultivation and tried to commercialize his farming. He has also received training from NABARD,Siwan and BAU Sabour. He produces vermi compost and quality seed. But he focused him self on banana cultivation. He planted Grand Naine for table purpose and Batisha for vegetable purpose at 2mx2m spacing. Local farmers had visited his field and purchased banana suckers. Now he wants to procure 2 acre land on lease and extend his banana cultivation. Many people from near by area come and become encouraged for growing banana. In case of vegetable he used to grow seedlings in tunnel and to cover with polythene cap in open field. Thus his seedling becomes ready earlier gives fruiting early which fetches more money.
